Parking Garages
With available land often hard to find, the demand for elevated parking decks always seems to be high. Teaming with select architectural consultants, Providence serves as Structural Engineer of Record for parking decks.
A typical working arrangement would be that first we work out general performance specifications and layout details with the architect. Providence next works with the selected specialty garage engineer to provide foundation designs to support the reactions provided to them by the garage design firm.
Other times Providence will provide the design of the entire garage. Additionally, there are times when Providence will design a structure that incorporates traditional building and parking into the same complex.
