Local Industrial Plant
A local industrial plant needed to add equipment to expand their product output.
The pit and slab cover are used to house multiple manufacturing press lines above the pit, and a grinder for each press below inside the pit. Providence designed the 12’-0” deep x 14’-0” clear width x 344’-0” clear length retaining wall concrete pit. Because the water table is 4 to 5 feet below grade, the pit was designed to hold water out from the bottom up.
