ReCommunity offers state-of-the-art single-stream recycling to their community.
Reconstruction of the 20,500 SF building was needed after a fire caused structural collapse of the existing facility. Providence designed tilt wall panels including reinforcement and connection details in accordance with the construction documents issued by the Engineer-of-Record. Due to site and crane limitations, the tilt panels were required to be reduced in size and weight. In order to achieve an optimal panel size, the panel width was reduced, increasing the number of individual tilt panels. New strip footings were utilized in combination with the existing spread footings to support the new load bearing tilt wall panels.
