Hess Brother's Fruit Company
A second generation family-owned business, Hess Brother’s Fruit Company specializes in the wholesale of premium apples purchased from local growers.
Hess Brother’s distributes over 1.5 million bushels of apples a year to a wide-range of markets including grocery stores, food processors, retail outlets and restaurants. Providence Engineering provided structural engineering and cold storage design services for the conversion of a 140,000 SF manufacturing space into a fully functional distribution center with packing and production lines, dry and cold storage warehouses, a shipping warehouse and office areas.
The project delivery method was design-build through Warfel Construction.
