EnergyWorks BioPower, LLC began operations of this state-of-the-art operation with poultry housing, production systems and environmental features that exceed industry standards.
Using proprietary gasification technology to produce synthesis gas that creates thermal energy under combustion, this 22,600 SF energy and nutrient recovery facility generates both power and process heat. Manure from 5 million egg-layer chickens produce up to 3.25 megawatts of renewable energy and recycles over 25 million pounds of recovered minerals annually. Design details include pre-engineered foundations for the process building including a recessed 800 SF bio-mass receiving pit and multiple isolated foundations for equipment and hoppers.
