Brothers Kershner Brewing

Providence provided structural engineering services for an old auto body shop and junkyard, transforming it into a 1,400 SF brewery and taproom. It was the first brewery in the town of Skippack.  The brewery has a 15 barrel brewing system which is part of the taproom.  Outdoor seating with a retaining wall built from reclaimed timbers was incorporated into the design.

Providence provided the structural engineering for renovations to the existing autobody shop, including design modifications to the existing structure, removing interior bearing walls. The adjacent foundation was underpinned while the building stayed in operation. Construction and design was phased to allow multiple utilities to be rerouted.
