The Pennsylvania College of Technology-New Student Housing
The Pennsylvania College of Technology, also known officially as Penn College, or casually as "Penn Tech" by locals, is a public college located in Williamsport, PA and is affiliated with The Pennsylvania State University.
Our team was selected to provide structural engineering services for two 4-story, 130,000 SF buildings for new student housing. The building is framed with sloped wood roof trusses and concrete hollow-core plank floors bearing on masonry walls. The curtain wall system is comprised of a combination of masonry and metal stud with EIFS. Foundations are conventional shallow spread footings.
