Carversville Inn
The historic Carversville Inn reopened after a two-year renovation, revitalizing a Bucks County landmark first established in 1813. The project combined selective demolition, extensive renovations, and new construction to preserve the inn’s historic character while updating it for modern use.

Providence provided structural design services for both the renovations and the addition, including:
- Reconstructing the two-story wraparound porch with modified timber construction
- Cast-in-place concrete entry ramps and stairs
- Design of an open floor plan supported by shallow-depth engineered lumber and steel framing system
- Structural modifications to maintain existing masonry exterior walls while accommodating the new layout
The result is a restored and reimagined destination that respects the building’s historic roots while ensuring it will serve the community for years to come.
