Central Penn Business Journal Announces Inaugural Top Projects Awards

Central Penn Business Journal has selected Godshall’s Quality Meats Inc. to receive a 2024 Top Projects Award.

Top Projects is a new awards program that honors the best building and construction projects in Central Pennsylvania over a 12-month span – from January 2023 to December 2023 – in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties. The awards are not only a look back at the excellent work that’s taken place in the previous year, but they also anticipate how these plans and projects potentially establish landmarks of the future.

Projects were judged on the following criteria: degree of difficulty, creativity in design, innovative construction techniques, cooperation among contractors, management and in some cases government, adaptive reuse and sustainability efforts. Winners of the 2024 Top Projects Awards were chosen by the editors of Central Penn Business Journal.

“The 2024 Top Projects winners are literally changing the landscape in Central Pennsylvania for the better through innovative design and construction. These projects were brought to life by incredible teams including architects, contractors and engineers who have created wonderful places that add to the quality of life in the region,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/Central Penn Business Journal. “We at Central Penn Business Journal are pleased to honor these outstanding individuals and businesses.”

The Top Projects Awards will be presented at Central Penn Business Journal’s Real Estate & Development Summit on Oct. 28 at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel in Harrisburg.
