Central Penn College-Advanced Technology Education Center
The ATEC (Advanced Technology Education Center) houses classrooms, a conference center and Student Union.
The 3-story building doubled the size of the College’s academic buildings, adding approximately 55,000 SF of classroom space. The facility is framed with structural composite steel beams and girders with steel moment frames for lateral load resistance. Perimeter walls at ground floor level are reinforced concrete retaining walls. Foundations are conventional shallow spread footings.
