Audi Lancaster/Autohaus Lancaster VW
The last phase of an extensive construction project included the remodeling and expansion of the main building of this family owned store in Lancaster, PA creating side-by-side showrooms for Audi and Volkswagen.
With 20,228 SF of additions and renovations to the existing facility, the original building was remodeled to include a 6,760 SF service reception addition, a 10,284 SF showroom addition, and a 3,184 SF existing office renovation, and featured separate drive-up lanes for service. The existing basement and roof covering remained for the display of classic Porsches and Volkswagens. New construction included structural steel framed roofs, concrete slabs on grade, and conventional shallow concrete spread footings. Exterior wall construction included masonry walls, cold-formed metal stud walls, and aluminum storefront systems.
