Look closely…that’s a building being built indoors. This new building, a student residence hall for Molloy College, is 3-stories tall, approximately 21,000 SF and is being constructed using 50 permanent modular units. It’s currently under construction at NRB Inc’s Central PA facility. The building will soon be disassembled, trucked to New York State, reassembled on the Molloy College campus and made ready for occupation before the students return next Fall. All of this in a matter of months.
Providence is working with Spillman Farmer Architects and NRB Inc to provide structural design for the building foundation, including an 8,000 SF basement.
