We’re continuing our employee-owner spotlight series with someone who keeps our team supported and connected behind the scenes—our Manager of Human Resources, Robin Frank. From coordinating across offices to caring for her animals at home, Robin brings heart, humor, and a strong sense of community to everything she does.
Question 1: What inspired you to join Providence, and what has kept you here?
During my interview I was speaking with our then President, David, and our Vice President, Operations, Carol-Ann. They were asking me questions about what I do outside of work and I told them I was getting ready to go camping on the Juanita River the day after my interview. They had no idea what river I was talking about and then realized I meant the Juniata River. I have never laughed so hard during a job interview, I knew that I should join such a great team.
My fellow employee-owners is why I stay with Providence. While we are not a “small” company we still have a family vibe. I love going to our different offices and spending time with all of the employees.
Question 2: What does being an employee-owner mean to you?
It means that I have control over my future within my company. And that if I help the company grow, the company will in turn help me.
Question 3: What’s one piece of advice you’d give your younger self?
Always stay true to yourself.
Question 4: What’s your hidden talent or hobby most people don’t know about?
I live on a small farmette. I love being out with my chickens, cattle and pigs.
Question 5: If your life were a movie, who would play you?
Reese Witherspoon.
Stay tuned each month as we continue to highlight more of our employee-owners and share their unique stories. We’re excited to showcase the people who make Providence a great place to work!
