Fun Fact: Since 2005, Dr. J. has assumed an alto ego of The Button Man, wearing a coat consisting of 1,000 bank football buttons, during the annual Penn State Homecoming parade and at various on-campus events, including the Penn State President’s tailgate. He has also given lectures to Penn State groups on the button’s origins and history.

With over 20 years of experience in both academia and professional practice, Dr. Jonathan U. Dougherty, or Dr. J. as we call him around the office, is well known throughout the A/E/C industry.
