Project Manager (All Locations)
Overview:
Successful candidate will join a vibrant and growing company that provides building design services to architects, contractors and owners across the country. We have open positions in each of our 7 offices. Tasks will be as required to support the needs of the local area as well as the other offices of Providence Engineering.
Job Requirements:
- Provide direct client contact and design-team leadership from proposal writing, through Design Phases, and including Construction Administration and Invoicing
- Lead/manage/direct/coordinate an internal structural design team, within a project design budget, and serve as the primary point-of-contact with Providence’s client
- Positive attitude to lead, collaborate, support and promote the project design team
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred:
- Provide a thorough understanding of process-facility design including the unique and specialized requirements for food-process, distribution and low-temperature facilities
- Lead/manage/direct/coordinate a team of applicable external design sub-consultants (MEP, Civil, Arch) as well as provide direct collaboration with other design professionals hired by Providence’s client
- Demonstrate a breadth of knowledge of building codes and building design as it relates to life-safety issues and cold-storage detailing
- Professional registration
